PETITA: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Hukum dan Syariah (PJKIHdS) has strongly required all authors to obey to the ethical standards as regulated by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which take confidentiality issues seriously and is committed to protecting individual information. PJKIHdS is available in print and online and very respects the publication ethic and evades any kind of plagiarism based on Turnitin report. This statement has described the ethical conduct of all parties involved in the act of issuing an article in this journal, including the author, the editor-in-chief, the editorial board, the peer-reviewers, and the publisher (Lembaga Kajian Konstitusi Indonesia-LKKI, Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia). This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Editor and Editorial Board
PETITA: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Hukum dan Syariah (PJKIHdS) has editors and editorial boards who have expertise in their field and can be contacted by email and Scopus ID provided in the journal. Editors and editorial boards have been selected from five continents, consisting of Asia, Europe, America, Australia, and Africa. Editor and Editorial Board. Editorial Office.

Authors Responsibilities
Fees
PETITA Journal is open access journal which does not charge any subscription fees, pay-per-view, article-processing charge (APC), submission charges, or another fee. All processes of article publication are free of charge.

Author Guidelines
All authors submitting article to PETITA Journal have to have knowingly contributed to the research article which will publish in PETITA Journal. Thus, all authors have an obligation to provide withdrawals or corrections of errors, in case of uncovering. In case of having financial support, also should be stated by authors in their article. Authors are strongly prohibited to publish same article in more than one journal or submitting elsewhere whilst reviewing process is ongoing. Furthermore, all of article must have list of references based on Author Guidelines.

Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to PETITA journal must obey aims and scope, and authors guidelines of the journal. The submitted manuscripts have to discourse scientific distinction or novelty proper to the aims and scope. All manuscripts have to avoid from plagiarism contents. All authors are required to do plagiarism detection soft aware to do the similarity checking, using Turnitin software is suggested. In PETITA journal editors have checked the plagiarism using the Turnitin software. The research article submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers, who have outstanding reputation in their field. PETITA journal have ensured that all of reviewers does not have any conflict of interest. The reviewers have given fairly a scientific statement to improve quality of manuscript, and also stating whether a manuscript can be published with mayor/minor revision or rejected in objective way. The type of review is international and double-blind peer reviewed journal. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewer’s comments. Publication of accepted articles and the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief. The consideration sequence of accepted date, geographical circulation of authors, and thematic issue are one of main reasons of publication. The reviewed article will be treated confidentially and fairly prior to publication.

Publication Ethics Aspects
PETITA: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Hukum dan Syariah (PJKIHdS) has strongly obligated publisher, editor, and author to obey to the ethical standards as regulated by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Thus, there are several ethical aspects that PETITA journal will take serious concern, namely;
• PETITA journal and editors will take reasonable stages to detect and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has happened;
• In no case will PETITA journal or editors reassure such misconduct, or knowingly allow such misconduct to take place;
• In the event that PETITA journal or editors are made conscious of any claim of research misconduct PETITA journal or editors will deal with allegations properly;
• PETITA journal will provide the guidelines for retracting or correcting articles when needed;
• PETITA journal or editors will always be ready to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when required.

Copyright and Licensing
Authors who will publish manuscript in PETITA Journal have agreed with following terms of conditions;
• Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal;
• Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal;
• Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.

All of articles published in PETITA journal has been backed up and preserved securely in library of Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Authors or readers at any time can request the electronic or printed version of published article by email: jurnal.petita@ar-raniry.ac.id

Ownership and Management of Journal
PETITA: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Hukum dan Syariah (PJKIHdS) has been owned and managed by Lembaga Kajian Konstitusi Indonesia (LKKI), Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

Publication Frequency: PETITA: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Hukum dan Syariah (PJKIHdS) has been published twice a year (April and November). Each issue number (issue) amounts to a minimum of eight (8) titles.

Geographical Diversity: PETITA: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Hukum dan Syariah (PJKIHdS) has confirmed the geographical diversity of the journal. Editors and editorial boards have been selected from five continents, including Asia, Europe, America, Australia, and Africa. Most of editors and editorial boards have expertise in their field and also having Scopus ID that indicating their affiliations as well as email address appeared in the journal. The authors have also come from various countries in the world who submitting their article based on aims and scope of the journal.
